Our flights have been booked! We have our Consulate appointment and travel is now firmly set for us to leave for China on Thursday, August 28th!
It has been 12 years since we undertook a "flight that never ends" when we lived in Malaysia. But we can't wait to begin this one! We will arrive in Beijing on Friday night and "patiently wait out the weekend" until we fly to our baby's province Monday morning, September 1. One month from today we will get to hold Lydia Grace! Following this, we will spend the next week and a half getting to know each other and filling out required paperwork before embarking on that long flight home.
Lydia Grace will arrive to her new home in the United States just days before her 1st Birthday!

Praise God that precious Lydia Grace will be with her forever family soon!! We are rejoicing with you and know you are so excited to hold her. Take lots of photos of all the 'first experiences' you guys share. Kristianna was amazed that she had skin! :) They bundle in Russia too.
