One of my children asked this question soon after we received the photos of Lydia Grace, "Is that ALL Lydia Grace?" This was her innocent way of asking about Lydia's size. First, we are so grateful for how well fed the babies are at this orphanage. Second, the Chinese custom is to wrap and layer the children for warmth. We read one posting this morning where the American parents adopting from China found that their newly received daughter had 11 layers of clothing on her. So yes, gratefully, Lydia Grace has been well fed; and no, we do not believe that is all Lydia Grace you are seeing in the photos.
